John Washo

Associate Director of Campus Recreation DePaul University

Mr. Washo is the Associate Director of Campus Recreation, at DePaul University, overseeing intramural and club sports, outdoor adventures, swim lessons team challenge, and facility rentals, reservations, and contracts. In this capacity, he works with two Assistant Directors to manage a comprehensive intramural program that offers more than 30 activities per year and over 35 club sports. In addition, he is responsible for the oversight and planning of the outdoor adventure program which offers trips, workshops, equipment rentals, and resources to participants and the campus community. Along with these duties, John oversees the Learn to Swim program, offering group and private lessons to students and the local community. Prior to joining DePaul in 2006, he served as Assistant Director of Campus Recreation at Weber State University.
