Melissa Albers

Assistant Director of Fitness and Aquatics at Cleveland State University

Serving as the Assistant Director of Fitness and Aquatics at Cleveland State University, Ms. Melissa Albers is responsible for the direct oversight of the fitness and wellness programs including group fitness, personal training, instructional programs, nutrition, and massage therapy. She is also responsible for scheduling instructors and personal trainers and purchasing necessary equipment and supplies. She also mentors the part-time staff and works on developing new instructors and trainers. In addition, she oversees the Coordinator of Aquatics & Safety and assists with aquatic programming and initiatives. Previously Melissa worked for two years in corporate fitness before returning to the campus recreation setting as a Fitness Graduate Assistant at the University of Kentucky.
