CENTERS celebrates 25 years, alongside celebrating DePaul University as CENTERS’ first site. After CENTERS’ parent firm, Brailsford & Dunlavey, conducted planning work at DePaul to assess campus recreation needs, CENTERS was created to provide innovative operational solutions for DePaul.
Maureen “Moe” McGonagle, Director and CENTERS’ first employee, provides vision and leadership for DePaul University’s dynamic and comprehensive Campus Recreation Department. Moe continues to create and nurture an environment that inspires innovation, values excellence, and facilitates effective student and professional development. She is active in the DePaul community, teaching for the university, serving as a Mission Ambassador for the Division of Mission and, and serving as a judicial case advisor for the Dean of Students office.
DePaul Campus Recreation prioritizes creating a sense of belonging for DePaul students, faculty/staff, and alumni and community members. The Department manages high quality facilities, programs, and services, utilizing a model that balances individual accessibility and affordability with financial stability.
It has been an exciting journey that would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of all the team members at DePaul. Moe, we would like to thank you and your staff for your unwavering commitment to CENTERS year after year, inspiring, empowering, and advancing the industry.
