As President of CENTERS, Mr. Sessine leads the firm’s national practice and provides executive oversight for CENTERS-managed locations, operating partnerships, and advisory engagements. Since joining CENTERS in 1999, he has played a central role in advancing the company from its first operating partnership into a nationally recognized management firm serving colleges, universities, and other mission-aligned environments.
Mr. Sessine’s leadership reflects deep experience in campus center management, business planning, financial modeling, agreement negotiation, governance, risk management, strategic operations, and client partnership. He has led the CENTERS practice since 2007, guiding the company’s growth while supporting high-performing teams, institutional alignment, and mission-focused operations that strengthen the out-of-classroom experience.
Earlier in his CENTERS career, Mr. Sessine was part of the on-site team that opened the Ray Meyer Fitness and Recreation Center at DePaul University, CENTERS’ first managed location. Prior to joining CENTERS, he worked at Purdue University. Mr. Sessine earned a bachelor’s degree from Keene State College and a master’s degree from Ohio University and Purdue University. He also completed coursework towards his Doctorate Program at Purdue University.
