CENTERS at Goucher College

Overview

CENTERS was selected in the spring of 2023 to oversee Goucher College Events and Conference Services. Our on-site team is focused on expanding the market portfolio, helping build Goucher’s brand awareness, optimizing the scheduling of the event and conference facilities, improving customer service, and mitigating risk. We utilize all available on-campus spaces including a 900-seat auditorium, state-of-the-art athletic facilities, various multi-purpose meeting spaces, and a beautiful chapel to showcase the campus and welcome visitors.  We execute the events by partnering with other Goucher departments and local event planners to ensure a safe and high-quality experience for all participants no matter if they are Goucher affiliated or external.

Kaia Greene, Director of Events and Conference Services

With over two decades of experience in event management, Ms. Greene is a seasoned professional known for orchestrating successful events ranging from 400 to 20,000+ attendees and participants. Her passion lies in navigating the intricate puzzle of event planning, always keeping an eye on the big picture while meticulously managing all the moving parts. To do so, she possesses a creative resourcefulness that enables her to find innovative solutions for any unexpected challenges that may arise.

Ms. Greene began her career with Disney Sports Attractions in 2000, where she dedicated more than 12 years to mastering the art of event management and coordination. In the years that followed her tenure at Disney, she lent their expertise to organizations such as the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, the City of Kissimmee, and Orange County Public Schools. Now a valued member of the CENTERS team, she brings her extensive experience, commitment to excellence, and leadership to every event she oversees as the Director of CENTERS at Goucher College Event and Conference Services. Ms. Greene holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, as well as multiple event management certifications.
