CENTERS at Harper College

In January 2016, CENTERS was selected to manage the $40 million Health and Recreation Center (HRC) upon the completion of a renovation and addition to the Harper athletic and recreation building. During the construction phase, CENTERS served as the owner’s representative with additional responsibilities that included developing the business plan and coordinating FF&E procurement. The HRC is a partnership between Harper College, Palatine Park District, and Northwest Community Healthcare and also home to Harper Hawks Athletics, Kinesiology and Health Education. Thanks to this unique partnership, Harper College has transformed what was once called “the loneliest building on campus” to an inviting and engaging hub for wellness, recreation, health education, and athletics.
